Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will later bring you to Kibale Forest National Park reaching just in time for lunch, and later set out for a guided nature walk to the neighboring villages and towns as well as visiting the Tooro Kingdom. Later, dine and rest at Kyaniga Lodge (super luxury), Crater Safari Lodge (Luxury), Primates Lodge Kibale (Midrange) and Chimpanzee Guest House (Budget).
Day 2: Chimpanzees Tracking and Birding at Bigodi Sanctuary
Have breakfast and report to the Kanyanchu offices for pre –tracking briefing on code of conduct when tracking for chimpanzees. With all your tracking gear, engage in your tracking exercise; expect to view chimps in large numbers and other primate species like the 2 faced monkeys, Red tailed and Grey Tailed monkeys among others. Later, have lunch in the wild and proceed with a birding exercise ta the Bigodi Community Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight rest at Kyaniga Lodge (super luxury), Crater Safari Lodge (Luxury), Primates Lodge Kibale (Midrange) and Chimpanzee Guest House (Budget)
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
Upon rising, enjoy your breakfast and later hit the road for a transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park; En route, enjoy the beautiful scenery views of the Rwenzori ranges reaching at the park in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Chameleon Hill/ Mahogany Springs (Luxury), Bakiga Lodge ( Midrange), Tarvan Trekkers (Budget).
Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Trek and Visit to Batwa Pygmies
Upon rising, enjoy breakfast and report at the Bwindi Forest park offices and engage in a morning briefing on the gorilla trekking code of conduct provided by the Park Warden. After this, embark on your gorilla trekking expedition; once you locate the amazing creatures, enjoy an hour with them before retrieving the starting point, to meet your guide for your return to the lodge. Have lunch and in the afternoon go for the Batwa Cultural enrichment. Dinner and overnight Chameleon Hill (Luxury), Bakiga Lodge (Midrange and Tarvan Trekkers (Budget)
Day 5: Departure
Upon rising, enjoy breakfast and get ready for your return trip to Kampala, have lunch and souvenirs en route at the Igongo Cultural village in Mbarara. Later proceed with your drive to Kampala for drop off at either a hotel or airport for departure flight.
